Where to find re-ment in Hong Kong

Depending on what kind of re-ment you are looking for, there are different places to go to in Hong Kong. Below are places that I visited at the end of 2018. But keep in mind that the stores in Hong Kong always move around or close down due to high rent.


Mong Kok/ Yau Ma Tei Area:

1. In's Point

   This is a mall with 2 floors of many mini shops that sell varies kind of toys, you would have to look around to see if the stores sell re-ment, when I went there there were several stores that sell the new released re-ment. But if you are looking for old discontinued ones this might not be the place that you want to go. From what I see they sell re-ment as a whole box set only. Price is reasonable. This mall has a lot of stores that sell legos, nendoroids, capsule toy sets and other kinds of toy!
2. Sino Centre

   Another mall with lots of toys, but this mall has japanese CDs and magazines if you are looking for them too. There are also a several stores that sell re-ment as a whole box set only.
3. Richmond Shopping Arcade

   this is another mall with a few floors that sells old vintage toys mostly, so expect some of the discontinued toys to have no price tags on them.. be prepared if you are going to bargain with them! I only saw a few stores that sell new box set of re-ment so this might not be a great place to go if you are only hunting for re-ment. Found one store that had a few boxes of megahouse but prices are kind of too high. But if you have time maybe you can find something you really like there. The stores in this mall open late, on google map it says the mall opens at 2pm, but I was there around 4pm many stores JUST opened.
4. UML Hobby Mega Store

   If you are looking for Mimo set this is the place to go to, only place in Hong Kong that I could find that sells mimo diorama scenery and full miniature box sets!  They only have a few sets of the re-ment keychain figures when I was there. They sell a lot of military models too so if you are into it this store is a must go! It says mega store but it is really not that big lol

Sham Shui Po Area:

   a large toy store that sell lots of different kinds of toy. they sell new released box set of re-ment as full sets only. They sell a lot of Sanrio goodies!!
2. Fok Lee Model

   another toy store similar to Figure Toy Export and wholesale, but when I was there there were more varieties of re-ment box set (new released plus some that were released few years ago) price is lower than other places!

Hong Kong Island Area:

1. Toy Zone

   A MUST SEE! lots of toys from long time ago and it is like a huge museum, 10,000 sq ft, that you can spend a lot of time in ( half hour is not enough for this place!!) Lots of old re-ment box sets!! I didn't seem to find new released ones tho. but just the re-ment section I spent half hour admiring how many sets of discontinued ones they got! they have a website too if you want to have an idea of the prices! toyzone.com.hk
   It is a huge store on the top floor of Smiling Shau Kei Wan Plaza, not a long walk from the mtr Shau Kei Wan station.
2. Tai Yuen Street (Toy street) in Wan Chai

   A few mins from the Wan Chai mtr station A3 exit and you will arrive at a street market that has around 6 toy stores selling lots of toy. Around 2 to 3 of the stores sell re-ment as full box sets.  If you go around Christmas time though some of the stores might not have the re-ments out as they have to display Christmas items.
   
    
3. Oriental 188 Shopping Centre

   A mall that has many mini stores, mostly sell games and computer accessories. Recently I see more and more toy stores opening in this mall. There are several stores that stock new released re-ment full box sets.
4. SOGO Causeway Bay

   The Hong Kong branch of this Japanese department store. On the floor that they sell toy they stock new released of re-ment and they sell it in individual blind boxes. If you want the whole set you can ask to see if they have whole box in stock, but the price is higher than the other places I mentioned about. I was surprised to see pose skeleton and its diorama set on sale in Sogo which I did not see in other places. Good to check it out really quick if you are shopping in Sogo and around the area.

Tsuen Wan:
I did not have enough time to go around Tsuen Wan, but there must be a lot of stores that sell toys there.
